The Latah County Historical Society invites you to join us at the Latah County Fairgrounds on July 12th at 6pm for Suds with Scholar, featuring Brandon R. Schrand. He will be speaking about Moscow's mail-order religion, Psychiana. Brandon’s book, Psychiana Man: A Mail-Order Prophet, His Followers, and the Power of Belief in Hard Times about Psychiana-founder Frank B. Robinson, was published by WSU Press in 2021.
This is planned as an outdoor event, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Gates for this event will open at 5:30pm, and the program begins at 6:00pm. Entry is $10 for LCHS members and $12 for the general public. The ticket price includes a guest’s first beer, with additional pours available for purchase. One World Café is supplying the beer and a dinner option will also be for sale from Happy Hog Meatery. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash or check, but cards will be accepted. The Latah County Fairgrounds are located at 1021 Harold Street in Moscow.
