The Latah County Fair Board is excited to be planning the 2021 Latah County Fair, September 16-19, 2021, as an open to the public event, at the Fairgrounds in Moscow.

This year’s theme will be “Lights, Camera … Agriculture!” and will showcase the best of what living on the Palouse has to offer. Several new classes and contests are being planned, and we are excited to be able to bring in some new entertainment attractions; including an expanded kid’s play-area and a master magician.

2021 Fair Hours: (Commericial booths close at 9pm)

Thursday, September 16th: 1pm to 10pm

Friday: September 17th: 10am to 10pm

Saturday: September 18th: 10am to 10pm

Sunday: September 19th: 10am to 5pm

With opening day of the Lath County Fair just two days away the health and safety of our guests, participants and community is our highest priority. Look for these proactive changes implemented to protect public health throughout the Latah County Fair and Event Center
  • Increased cleaning/sanitizing procedures
    Increased sanitizing stations and hand-wash stations
  • Expanded vender areas
  • Limited indoor exhibits/vendors with more spacing between vendors for social distancing
  • Main Exhibit/Commercial Building/Sale Barn will have increased ventilation with all doors opened and commercial fans
  • Most vendors/events/entertainment are outdoors
  • Free masks are available for all guests
  • We encourage cashless/contactless transactions
  • Safety signage posted around the fairgrounds
  • Encouraging all fairgoers and participants to mask indoors and where social distancing cannot be met.

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat

  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If you or anyone in your household are currently positive for COVID-19 you must STAY home. If you are a 4H or FFA Exhibitor, please contact your leader/advisor to make arrangements.

The Latah County Fair is proceeding as scheduled with modifications to programming and increased efforts to keep guests safe. The Latah County Fair is a celebration of the greater Latah County community.We are dedicated to being a part of our collective well-being and look forward to this annual celebration.

After thoughtful consideration and guidance from state and local health officials, we have determined that our event can safely take place this year for those who choose to attend. We encourage all participants and fair-goers to first evaluate their own potential risk of exposure to COVID-19 before visiting, knowing that vaccines remain the best protection from COVID-19. In addition, we encourage fair-goers to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 when attending the Fair by wearing masks indoors, practicing social distancing, and washing hands regularly.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Guests should attend only after evaluating their own health risks. Your entry onto the Latah County Fair property constitutes your understanding of these risks, and you voluntarily assume such risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Latah County cannot be held liable if you contract COVID-19. Help protect yourself by following safety protocols, and state and local public health recommendations.

2021 Fair Sponsorship Opportunities


We are in need of HELP in the following areas of Fair:
  • Exhibit Hall Superintendent
  • Judge for Weaving & Spinning Show
  • Exhibit Check-In Volunteers for the Fabric Art Shows
  • Exhibit Check-In Volunteers for the Legos Show
We are always looking for more volunteer help at the Fair, if we are not able to secure enough volunteers, this may affect our ability to offer some traditional Fair programs. The 2021 Fair is no exception, if you are willing to lend a hand, please contact the Fair Office.

Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 1pm to 8pm
Fresh Cut Flowers ONLY - Thursday, Sept. 16th from 7am to 9:30am.

Exhibit Pick Up Time:
Sunday, September 19, 2020 start at 5pm (no early removal)
OR the week after Fair from 9am to 3pm from the Fair Office.

The Latah County Fair is set to open Ten Days after Labor Day, and be a four day event.

2022 = September 15th to 18th
2023 = September 14th to 17th
2024 = September 12th to 15th
2025 = September 10th to 13th
2026 = September 17th to 20th
