Press Release: March 26, 2020: Planning for Latah County Fair 2020.
On behalf of the Latah County Fair Board we would like to assure the citizens of Latah County that we are continuing the planning phases of the 2020 Latah County Fair; “Lights, Camera ... Agriculture”.
We are aware that the current situation has our community cautious regarding events in the coming months. We ask that all citizens of Latah County respect and abide by Governor Little’s state wide stay-home order for the next 21 days to help prevent further outbreak and effectively slow the spread of COVID 19, allowing us to resume regular activity and events in the future.
We know many livestock families have purchased their fair animals or will be in the near future. With regards to the current economic situation we realize this may be a burden to families. We would like to take this time to remind you of the Chip Gillam loan program that is available to 4H and FFA members. Program information and the application are available online at https://www.latahcountyfair.com/p/fair/chip-gilliam-memorial.
We are optimistically looking forward to celebrating our county’s agriculture heritage and this great community with you in person September 17-20, 2020.
While the Buildings of Events Center are currently closed, we are still working, and are available by phone or email if you have any questions. Fair camper and animal registration forms are available for livestock exhibitors at www.latahcountyfair.com/p/fair/register.For competitive exhibits, and general Fair information, to go www.latahcountyfair.com/p/fair.
See you in September!
