“Good Trouble Lives On” is a National Day of Non-violent Action to commemorate the life and work of Congressman John Lewis on the anniversary of his death. Indivisible Moscow will honor him and respond to the Trump administration's attacks on our civil, human and voting rights. An attack on one is an attack on us all. We will gather at the Latah County Fairgrounds at 6 PM for music, speakers, activities and a bring-your-own-picnic. This event will take the place of our July general meeting.

From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, the Trump administration is launching a full-scale attack on our civil and human rights. But we know the truth: in America, the power lies with the people, and we’re rising to prove it.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. All participants should strive to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
